Need to get up and running fast? Social Media Boost is perfect for you!
This program meets twice a week for three weeks. Classes may be
taken individually or all together! Required items include a laptop
with Wi-Fi capabilities, pen and notepad, and your thinking cap!
Classes will be held at The Book Exchange (Map) from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.

Facebook 101: Wednesday, April 20
Facebook 101 explores the basic tools of Facebook and how to maximize
its features to promote your business. This class also covers the changes
that took place on Facebook on March 1! Attendees will leave the class with a
social media marketing plan to effectively market their business on Facebook.
LinkedIn 101: Thursday, April 21
LinkedIn is a great way to market your business, but how can it work for you?
This class explains the importance of LinkedIn for your business and how to
harness its power to generate prospects. At the end of this class, attendees will
will know how to expand their network to obtain opportunities and referrals.
Twitter 101: Wednesday, April 27
Twitter is one of the fastest growing social networking sites and on the
surface, seems confusing and complicated. Twitter 101 unravels the mystery
of Twitter and shows you how to tweet with a purpose! Attendees will leave with
a strategic plan to promote their business using Twitter.
Putting It All Together Using Applications: Thursday, April 28
This class explores applications to efficiently spend your time on social
social media marketing. Tools such as HootSuite, Social Oomph, and Ping.fm
will be discussed and students will gain a working knowledge of all three.
Social Media Content 101: Wednesday, May 4
Struggling on what to say on social media? Social Media Content 101 teaches
attendees on how to find sources for content and avoid a face-off with the
computer screen. Attendees will leave with a scoial media content plan.
Social Media Strategy 101: Thursday, May 5
With so many social media strategies out there, which one is right for you?
Social Media Strategy 101 explores strategies that assist the busy business
owner and professional. Attendees will leave with a social media strategy for
their business that is right for them.
