  1. Kristen,

I send out Thank You and birthday cards to all my clients. Plus I get them in return…its really nice to receive and be the sender. Great ideas! I’ve got several that are coming up to 10 years assisting them and I’m in the works of doing something very special for them, but the program has not gone live…hoping soon though.

    • I would like to have a rewards program someday too. Never thought about birthday cards…that’s a good one! And yes, it’s always nice to be appreciated as well.

  2. Great ideas, Kristen — every one of them.

Everyone loves a gesture of appreciation. It’s simply human nature. We all need to find wonderful ways to show others we really care about them … customers and clients, too!

I’m a huge fan of handwritten notes and cards. Love to give them and get them!

  3. All great tips. I have had amazing replies to Thank you/Birthday/Welcome cards that I’ve sent in the past. I think it’s become an experience to get an actual handwritten card in the mail. You want personal touches? It doesn’t get much more personal than that! I have also used coupon and referrals rewards together with success. Combining ideas can make things interesting too!

  4. Cards are my all time favorite, they are personal and always leave an impression…somehow with the internet “attack”, cards are slowly losing their popularity.
Also, I have been on the receiving end of personalized SMS.. nice effort, as a customer I felt special!

    • Everyone likes to feel appreciated and so do your customers. It’s a wonderful feeling-isn’t it? Thanks for stopping by Hajra!
